A plane crashes mysteriously but when the Pilot’s cell phone is found and they see his last photo in the gallery the police are surprised to discover what really happened the day was calm the sun Shone high in the sky as police officer Mary and her partner Frank patrolled a neighborhood in the city the police car drove slowly through the quiet streets with only the sound of the radio breaking the silence Mary watched the children playing in the distance and the elderly sitting on the balcony of their houses it was an ordinary day with no
sign that anything terrible was about to happen suddenly a thunderous sound broke through the air so loud that it even made the windows of the car shake violently Mary stuck her head out of the car and immediately looked up feeling a wave of adrenaline rush through her body what was that asked Frank getting out of the car in the blue sky an airplane was falling not in a freef fall but J in downwards as if it were made of paper the metal giant swayed wildly losing height every second the turbines rumbled
in agony and a cloud of black smoke began to spread oh my God it’s falling Frank the plane is going to crash exclaimed Mary in shock as she watched the aircraft descend faster than her mind could process the information officer Frank to headquarters shouted Frank radio in hand we have a plane crash I repeat we have a plane crash Mary felt her heart racing as the aircraft disappeared over the horizon crashing in a vast rural area on the outskirts of the city the impact was brutal but the plane didn’t explode
despite the devastating scene there was still hope of finding survivors we need reinforcements now shouted Mary running back to the car call the ambulances in the fire department with the siren cutting through the air Mary and Frank set off at full speed towards the scene of the crash in a few minutes they arrived in the distance the wreckage of the plane could already be seen a small crowd of onlookers approached driven by curiosity and the terror of witnessing such a tragedy Mary jumped out of the
car her nerves on edge stand back everyone stand back she shouted trying to control the crowd that was beginning to surround the site the smell of fuel and the sound of twisting metal filled the air in the midst of the chaos loud and Terri terrifying screams began to be heard desperate screams from inside the plane wreckage there are survivors exclaimed Frank his tone mixed with relief and despair we have to get them out of there now said Mary already running towards the plane get those people away we need space Mary’s heart was beating so fast that she could
hardly think there was no time to lose every second was crucial as she ran towards the fire and the wreckage something unsettling hovered in her mind mind the way the plane had crashed seemed wrong unusual but there was no time to question it now the focus was on saving those who were still alive the two officers approached the wreckage Mary had expected to find a devastating scene but what she saw surpassed all expectations bodies were scattered across the ground clearly lifeless the scene was shocking and made her eyes
fill with tears but she knew she couldn’t let it get to her there were still people to be saved with a quick movement the policewoman dried her eyes and moved forward among the wreckage she knew she had to focus on the survivors and at that moment she heard A desperate cry she followed the sound and found a man maybe in his 40s screaming in pain his leg trapped between pieces of metal please get me out of here it hurts so much help me the man begged his face contorted with Agony Mary looked around for Frank he was further ahead carrying
a child in his arms too far away to help her she realized that she would have to help the man alone she approached him trying to find a way to free him but the metal was firmly attached to her leg just when she thought she wouldn’t be able to help him a man suddenly appeared from the small crowd watching I’m a doctor I can help he said hurrying over to help her Mary nodded relieved together they began to move the debris trying to free the injured man’s leg the doctor skillfully stopped the bleeding using a makeshift cloth but his serious look left no doubt he’s lost a
lot of blood look he’s pale he needs to go to hospital immediately or he won’t survive ambulance sirens could already be heard in the distance but Mary didn’t want to wait she also thought that there wouldn’t be many other survivors to help when The Rescuers arrived I’m taking him Mary said decisively helping the doctor put the injured man in the police car as they drove towards the hospital which was only 10 minutes away the injured man continued to moan in pain but what caught Mary’s attention was his insistence on a certain subject do you
know if anyone from the crew survived she found the question a bit strange but she didn’t have time to think about it now the hospital was only a few minutes away and her Focus was on keeping the man alive until then as soon as they arrived the medical team was already waiting with the help of the Doctor Who had helped Mary at the scene of the crash they transferred the injured man to the emergency room she watched as they took him away but she knew her work wasn’t over yet she had to get back and back at the scene of the crash chaos
prevailed police officers Rescuers and doctors were working tirelessly trying to save the few remaining survivors when she got back Mary found Frank exhausted with with a farway look in his eyes how many survivors she asked panting four so far he replied I don’t know if we’ll find anyone else alive the crash was very bad it’s a real miracle that these four managed to survive remembering the question from the man she had taken to the hospital Mary thought about asking Frank if any of the four survivors were crew members but before she could ask a shout cut through the air here quick the pilot he’s alive
he’s got a pulse Mary’s heart raced and she and Frank ran towards the shout the pilot was alive which could be a clue to the mystery of the crash the words of the man Mary had taken to hospital echoed in her mind why was he so worried that some of the crew had survived did the pilot have any clues as to what really happened on that flight Mary approached the pilot who was seriously injured she took a close look at his pale face his shallow breathing and his bruised body The Rescuers were Tre treating him with extreme care aware that any sudden movement could worsen his condition as they placed him on the
stretcher she walked away continuing her rescue work a few minutes later one of The Rescuers approached her with an update we have five confirmed survivors four passengers two women a child and a man and one crew member the pilot The Rescuer words cut through the silence in a solemn way the head of the rescue team confirmed after much searching and analy izing the situation unfortunately except for the other five no other victims have survived now we’re going to take the bodies and start identifying them and
notifying the families Mary Stood Still For a Moment letting the words echo in her mind the weight of the tragedy seemed to squeeze her chest although the main objective saving lives had been achieved the surrounding scenery left a bitter feeling of defeat there were bodies everywhere lives that would never be recovered families that would be destroyed she took a deep breath trying to keep her composure she knew that the work there at least for her and Frank had come to an end she took one last look around observing the scattered
debris that sight would remain etched in her memory forever then as her eyes scanned the area something caught her eye among the pieces of metal and broken glass she saw a small object glowing she approached it and realized that it was a cell phone surprisingly intact Mary bent down and picked up the device she held it carefully and when she pressed the button the screen lit up the device was locked but the background showed a photo that made her hesitate for a moment a man hugging a child the recognition was immediate the man in the photo was the pilot when she saw the
photo a feeling of compassion settled in her heart he wasn’t just a pilot he was a father someone with a the life outside of that tragedy she felt a tightness in her chest at the thought of him fighting for his life at that moment she closed her eyes for a few seconds saying a brief prayer in silence asking for God to save that father’s life she kept the cell phone in her pocket aware that it belonged to the pilot and could be important but she just couldn’t imagine how important it was Mary walked up to one of The Rescuers and asked firmly
which hospital has the pilot been taken to too all the survivors were taken to St Luke’s Hospital The Rescuer replied promptly referring to the same hospital where she had taken that wounded man earlier Mary nodded already forming a plan in her mind she decided that after work she would stop by the hospital to return the cell phone to the pilot she also wanted to see how the other survivors were especially the man she had rescued the one who had been asking so much about the crew when she mentioned the idea to Frank he
immediately agreed I want to go too I want to see how’s the little girl I rescued he said with a tired but relieved Smile as they continued their police work for the day the mystery of the plane crash hung in the air the question how did it happen seemed to be on everyone’s mind they talked about the crash as they drove through the city streets trying to make sense of what they had just witnessed it’s strange isn’t it Frank commented thoughtfully the weather was fine with no signs of storms or ice build up in the clouds how did the plane crash like that exactly
she agreed and they said the aircraft had passed a rigorous inspection the day before it doesn’t make sense doubts hung in the air the newspapers discussed the possible causes but so far no one could explain the reason for the crash the weather was stable and there were no signs of mechanical failure at least at first glance something just doesn’t add up said Mary reflecting the plane didn’t just crash the silence that followed indicated that Frank also shared her feelings on the subject as they continued their rounds they heard people
talking around the city all of them intrigued by what had happened on the news experts discussed theories but none of them seemed to fully answer the question speculation grew sabotage human error but what nobody knew was that the key to unraveling the mystery was closer than they could have imagined the Pilot’s cell phone now in Mary’s pocket contained information that could change the course of the whole investigation she had no idea but the truth was already within her grasp Mary and Frank’s shift finally came to an end
tired but with their mind still occupied by what they had witnessed that day they agreed to meet later let’s go home have a shower eat something and meet up at 8:00 p.m. to go to the hospital suggested Frank and Mary agreed read without hesitation at 8:00 p.m.
sharp Frank arrived at Mary’s house she got in the car and together they drove to the hospital the first stop was the room of the little girl Frank had rescued she was awake her face still marred by the confusion but her smile though faint lit up the room next to her was her mother who was holding her daughter’s hand tightly as if she might lose her again at any moment the woman had lost her husband in the accident but despite the pain she was very grateful that her little girl had survived I’ll never forget what you did for my daughter officer she said to Frank her voice shaking with emotion the policeman just
nodded moved not knowing how to respond properly to the woman’s gratitude the officers then went to the room of the other two women who survived both seriously injured but alive even so they smiled when they saw Mary and Frank the relief evident in their eyes as they realized how close they had come to death Mary however had one thing on her mind the pilot she needed to see him especially after finding his cell phone determined she asked the nurse about him he’s in the ICU replied the nurse with a serious tone no visitors are allowed at the moment not even family members are
any relatives here to see him asked Mary with the Pilot’s cell phone in her pocket no it seems that he’s from another town nobody came for him yet Mary kept his cell phone with her determined to return it personally when he came out of the ICU unable to see the pilot at the time Mary and Frank went to see the man she had rescued first as they entered the room they were greeted by an attitude that made them uncomfortable from the first moment before they could even say hi the man asked them an urgent question did anyone else survive Mary and Frank exchanged
glances there was something strange about his behavior an anxiety that didn’t seem to fit the situation Mary approached keeping a calm tone yes there are survivors the man however pressed his question more specifically any of the crew silence hung in the room for a moment Mary didn’t answer straight away deciding to turn the tables why are you so interested in knowing if anyone from the crew is alive she asked with suspicion the man seemed un comfortable with the question his eyes wavering for a second he shifted on the bed as if
looking for an excuse uh it’s just that the crew were very nice to me during the flight so I was worried the answer didn’t convince the policewoman she studied him with her gaze looking for something to explain his strange obsession with the crew another thing that struck her was the fact that no one had come to visit him either a survivor of a plane crash alone in a hospital with no one showing up to support him it was strange to say the least Frank next to her watched him carefully also intrigued by the man’s behavior yes one crew member survived said Mary after a long silence the pilot as soon as she
revealed that information the man’s expression changed his discomfort became more evident and for a moment he even seemed to sweat the the pilot he repeated his voice shaking yes he’s here but he’s in the ICU replied Frank without taking his eyes off the man the patient’s reaction was instantaneous he straightened up a little more in bed clearly nervous and how is he will he survive the insistence of the questions was now impossible to ignore the man was definitely hiding something Mary narrowed her eyes
analyzing his behavior he definitely knew more than he was saying why are you so interested in the pilot she asked keeping her tone calm but with a hint of Suspicion evident the man forced a tense smile and tried to disguise it I’m just curious it’s nothing really as I said everyone treated me so well it was my first plane flight so you know but there was already tension in the air Mary and Frank knew that this man was hiding something important The Mystery of the plane crash seemed to have more layers
than they had imagined and that Survivor was a key piece in the puzzle Mary looked at the man suspiciously and asked one more question what’s your name again the man hesitated for a moment before replying Sullivan as soon as he said his name a nurse entered the room to take his blood pressure with nothing else to do Mary and Frank exchanged glances and decided to leave they said goodbye and went outside as they left Mary noticed Sullivan staring at them until they disappeared through the door then the nurse finished checking his Vital Signs
and also left Sullivan muttered to himself his voice low and full of resentment so many people that could have survived why did that bastard have to make it out alive I need to deal with this before he wakes up and opens his mouth I wasn’t supposed to survive no one was supposed to survive but since I’m alive I’m not going to spend the rest of my life Behind Bars that’s for sure outside Mary and Frank walk walk towards the car exchanging their thoughts about the man his behavior was too strange to ignore there’s something
wrong with Sullivan commented Frank he’s uncomfortable with the fact that the pilot survived something’s not right I agree replied Mary thoughtfully he’s hiding something is your laptop in the car Frank nodded yes it is they both made their way to the vehicle and within a few minutes were searching for Sullivan’s name in criminal databases to their surprise they found nothing no criminal history nothing to explain why he was acting so suspiciously he doesn’t exist in the system said Mary puzzled who is he really the more they looked the more intrigued they became nothing seemed to be connected to the man it was
as if Sullivan were a shadow leaving no Trace wherever he went with a growing concern Mary decided that they needed to investigate Sullivan in a different way she grabbed the Pilot’s cell phone and showed Frank the photo on the lock screen I have an idea I’ll casually show him this photo to see how he reacts Frank looked at her understanding the plan all right if he’s hiding something this photo might just set him off they decided to go back to Sullivan’s room ready to see how he would react to the Pilot’s photo however when they arrived they were greeted by a surprise the room
was empty the bed was still unmade but there was no sign of Sullivan looked at Frank where did he go he hasn’t been discharged yet they began to search the hospital but there was no sign of the man that’s when Mary had an intuition Frank what if he went to the ICU he might try to do something with the pilot Frank just nodded and the two rushed to the hospital’s ICU without wasting any time they ran through the hospital Halls crossing the wards in search of Sullivan and it was in the ICU Ward that they spotted him
walking with difficulty his legs still visibly injured he was moving slowly and painfully but determinedly Sullivan Mary shouted her voice echoing down the hall the man stopped suddenly his shoulders stiffened and he slowly turned around his face marked by shock for a second it seemed as if his heart had stopped what are you doing here she asked firmly but trying to remain calm I just went for a walk replied Sullivan with a hesitant tone I can’t stay in bed for long I need to move around before they could press him any further a nurse appeared beside them with a disapproving expression sir
you can’t walk yet you need to rest she said you should be in bed I’ll get you a wheelchair the nurse asked the officers to help Sullivan into a wheelchair reluctantly he allowed them to put him in the chair but his Restless eyes showed that something else was going on in his mind Mary and Frank followed closely as the nurse took him back to his room at this point they were sure Sullivan was hiding something and they needed to find out what it was before it was too late back in the room Mary and Frank decided to pressure him more his suspicious Behavior had gone too far why
are you after the pilot Mary asked her voice firm I’m not after him replied Sullivan trying to remain calm like I said I just went for a walk it’s uncomfortable lying here for so long Frank shook his head in disbelief Crossing his arms no one in your condition would go out for a walk you must be in a lot of pain what are you hiding at that moment Mary calmly took the Pilot’s cell phone out of her pocket and turned on the screen revealing the photo on the lock screen this is the pilot I’m guessing you already know him he seems like a good man why are you so interested in him why are you after him
Sullivan on seeing the photo panicked in a desperate act he jumped on Mary knocking the cell phone out of her hand the move was quick but impulsive and he tried to run to the bathroom with the clear intention of destroying the device or throwing it down the toilet and he would have made it if it hadn’t been for Frank who grabbed him before he reached the bathroom door let go now Frank shouted holding the man firmly Mary retrieved the cell phone still terrified by the sudden attack the man however continued to struggle trying to get the phone at any cost as if his life depended on it there’s something on that
phone that he wants to destroy said Frank struggling to keep Sullivan down Mary get my handcuffs Mary still stunned quickly grabbed Frank’s handcuffs and together they restrained the man to the bed Sullivan now trapped began to beg please give me that cell phone I need that cell phone there was no longer any doubt that something connected that cell phone the pilot and Sullivan and Mary was was going to find out what it was what’s on it Sullivan she asked but the man just kept pleading unable to give a coherent answer it was then that Mary
realized that the Pilot’s phone was digitally unlocked Mary looked at Frank who nodded silently already understanding his partner’s plan I’m going to the ICU if the pilot is still unconscious I can use his fingerprint to unlock the phone we can’t wait any longer we need to know what’s on it Sullivan panicked his eyes wide with fear don’t please don’t do this I’m begging you the desperation in his voice was evident but Mary’s determination was greater Frank stay here said Mary resolutely go I’ll handle him Frank replied Mary hurried out of the room her
heart pounding what could be on that cell phone that was making Sullivan so desperate one thing was certain the policewoman was about to find out as she ran through the hospital towards the ICU Frank kept his eyes fixed on S always attentive but suddenly the man began to cry tears streaming down his face uncontrollably fine I’ll tell you I’ll tell you the truth he sobbed please just listen to me Frank suspicious approached cautiously are you really going to talk or is this just another one of your little tricks no please I’m
really going to talk Sullivan held out his hand as if begging for understanding just come closer Frank hesitated but decided to listen believing that he would finally get some information however as soon as he approached Sullivan made a quick and unexpected move before Frank could react the man reached for the gun in his holster Frank shouted realizing too late what had happened Samir now holding the gun pointed it directly at the policeman uncuff me now Frank now at gunpoint had no choice but to comply with Trembling Hands he UNC the man
Sullivan then stood up with difficulty but with a new Sinister confidence now handcuff yourself to the bed come on quickly Sullivan forced the gun closer to Frank’s chest who reluctantly obeyed and fastened the handcuffs on himself with the policeman immobilized Sullivan held the gun in his hand and gave a cruel smile I need to stop your friend before she finds out the truth because believe me she won’t like what she finds and so he left the room leaving Frank handcuffed and Powerless meanwhile Mary approached the ICU her curiosity growing
with every step she knew she was about to discover something big something that Sullivan was desperate to hide when she arrived she talked to a doctor about it showing him her police badge this time she got permission for a quick visit on the other side of the hospital Sullivan moved with hurried steps despite the intense pain in his wounded leg holding the gun he had stolen from Frank he pointed it at anyone who dared cross his path nothing else mattered to him now he was desperate and there was nothing left to lose even if I end up in jail for this I can get out later but
now I need to finish off that bastard and destroy that damn cell phone he muttered to himself running through the hospital meanwhile Frank was still struggling to break free his wrist was already bruised from all the effort and he knew that every second lost put Mary at risk desperate he started screaming for help help hey somebody I’m stuck help a nurse finally heard him and rushed over to help now free Frank managed to pull out his cell phone and warn Mary of the danger in the ICU Mary was approaching the pilot whose body was still and frail when a cell phone ring broke the silence for a moment she
thought it was the Pilot’s phone but realized it was was her own she hesitated to answer wanting to avoid any noise that might disturb the sleeping pilot but when she saw that it was Frank she quickly answered Mary he escaped Sullivan’s coming after you shouted Frank from the other end of the line before she could react she felt something cold and hard like a gun press against the back of her head game over hand over the phone now Sullivan said as he pressed the gun to her head Mary remained calm she knew that any abrupt move could be fatal okay calm down I’ll give it to you just be careful with that
she said Mary slowly handed over the cell phone but what Sullivan didn’t know was that the phone she was holding wasn’t the Pilot’s cell phone but her own as soon as the man grabbed it he threw it to the ground destroying it completely now it’s over he said smiling with satisfaction unaware that he had been tricked but it didn’t end there Sullivan turned to the pilot who was still breathing with the help of respirators and said all this because of you and you still managed to survive you bastard time to meet the devil he said
pointing the gun directly at the unconscious man’s head at that moment with a speed that Sullivan hadn’t expected Mary acted she pulled out her gun and in a single shot hit the man in the shoulder knocking him out before he could pull the trigger on the pilot Sullivan fell to the ground and the pain consumed him he screamed but still had a sadistic smile on his face he said you think you’ve won don’t you but it doesn’t matter they will kill him when they find out that he survived and the cell phone is gone you’ll never know the truth Mary approached him her breathing
was labored but her gaze firm you think you’re so smart don’t you but you haven’t realized one thing she took the Pilot’s real cell phone out of her pocket and showed it to him Sullivan smile disappeared instantly he tried to get up but the pain prevented him from moving he stared at Mary now overcome with despair without wasting any time the policewoman used the Pilot’s fingerprint to unlock his cell phone she opened the gallery app and several photos and videos appeared among the photos one clearly showed Sullivan at a
meeting surrounded by powerful men politicians businessmen and high society figures but what really caught Mary’s attention was a video she played it and the recording showed Sullivan talking to these men the voice on the video revealed a dark scheme something terrible Sullivan worked with an illegal organ trafficking market and several public Figures were involved in the scheme Mary quickly understood that the pilot had accidentally filmed the meeting and discovered the scheme involving important people Sullivan was
there to make sure that the secret never got out the criminal now wounded and out of options let out a bitter laugh Sullivan revealed that they found out that the pilot had filmed them and that he and his girlfriend a stewardess knew about the whole scheme so the Mafia bosses arranged for Sullivan to board the plane and sabotage it without anyone noticing the plan was for Sullivan to get off the plane before it took off but he ended up trapped having to mingle with the passengers and wait for the worst Mary realized at that moment that the police would have a lot of work to
do Frank arrived in the room shortly afterwards with reinforcements and Sullivan immobilized and defeated was taken into custody in the days that followed the Revelations made by Mary and Frank led to the downfall of several powerful people politicians businessmen and public figures involved in the scheme were arrested and the case shook the country the courage of Mary and Frank was recognized and both received Medals of Honor for their work that would save many lives the pilot although shaken by the loss of his girlfriend survived he thanked them personally knowing that Mary and Frank’s help had made all the
difference in the end the truth prevailed Mary knew it wasn’t the end of all problems but she was sure that at that moment Justice had been done and that for her was.
